Dr. Karen Bryant
While Dr.Bryant is the newest addition to the Odyssey team, she is no stranger to the hospital setting. She has worked as a DVM in Wisconsin for more than three years at clinics in Watertown, and most recently, Monona. She also worked as a Registered Nurse for eighteen years prior to realizing her interest and passion for veterinary medicine. Dr.Bryant earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a small animal internship in Washington DC at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center. She also serves on the board of directors for Dane County Veterinary Medicine Association (DCVMA) and is an active volunteer for Dane County Friends of Ferals. Dr. Bryant’s special interests include diabetes and geriatric medicine. Outside of work, she is a National Ski Patrol member and volunteers as a patroller and instructor at Cascade Mountain. Dr. Bryant recently moved to Fitchburg where she lives with her husband Michael and their very spoiled elderly cat Penelope.
