Shelley joined the Odyssey team as a Veterinary Assistant in March of 2009, after having gained experience in the field at a small animal practice which specialized in exotic animal care.  She loves having the opportunity to meet and help care for so many of Madison’s special critters. 

Speaking of special critters, Shelley feels incredibly lucky to have been adopted by two feline rascals (Cricket and Kitty Kitty) and a pair of sweet, goofy Golden Retrievers (Raider and Buddy), who always keep her entertained.   

In addition to assisting at the clinic, Shelley is also a freelance music journalist and enjoys working for a local concert promoter as well as teaching figure skating lessons.  Her other interests include art, literature, history, and playing the guitar.
