Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Susan Jeffrey was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in Ohia, and made Wisconsin her home in 1998. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the College of Wooster and her Master of Science in Animal Science/Toxicology from The Ohio State University. She then went on to graduate from UW-Madison Veterinary School in 2006. After spending 4 years working at an AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Buffalo, NY, she and her family moved back to Madison.
Although Susan enjoys most aspects of veterinary medicine, she has strong interests in dentistry, preventative medicine, and hospice. She loves the relationships she develops with pets and their families. In addition to working with pets and their owners, she took the lead in AAHA certification in the two previous veterinary hospitals where she worked.
Away from Odyssey, she enjoys time with her husband, Adam, daughter, Sophie, two kitties, Ginger and Chubbies, and French Bulldog, Simon. She likes to garden, read, and attempt to keep somewhat fit through barre classes. She also has a very weak spot for chocolate and ice cream.
