Monica

Monica earned her Certified Veterinary Technician degree from MATC in 2004. She has loved animals for as long as she can remember and grew up with plenty animal interaction while helping out on relatives’ dairy farms. She recalls being the only 7-year-old who would willingly wake up at 5 AM so she could help milk the cows and feed the calves.

Monica currently lives in Belleville with her husband Duane, their 9-year-old daughter Isabell and 5-year-old son Wyatt. Currently their fur children consist of two cats named Diego and Chimmy (1 year old troublemakers!). Monica thoroughly enjoys horseback riding, camping, and spending time outdoors. Monica’s husband Duane is an active member of the Belleville Volunteer Fire Department where she also helps with numerous activities/fund raisers.

Her favorite part of being a CVT is improving the quality of our pets’ lives through educating clients which strengthens the bond they share with their owners. She really enjoys seeing clients come in with a new puppy/kitten and to see them grow up over the years and develop their own personalities and quirks.
