I was born and raised near New Orleans, LA. I spent twelve years in the Catholic school system and six in the US Navy. I met my husband while I was in the Navy, but we didn’t get married until he received his discharge. My two oldest children were born while I was serving in Norfolk, VA. My youngest two were born after we moved to Wisconsin. I have been a sailor, full-time mom, part-time tax preparer, college student, day care provider, and optician, all while my children were young. Then I spent twelve years driving an 18-wheeler all over this country. I owned my truck and saw a lot of beautiful sights. Eventually, age and health got the better of me, so I had to turn in my keys. Now, I am working with my daughter, Chelsea, and I love it. This is just the next chapter in my adventure through life.
